Description: Galaxies are complex objects, composed of dust, gas, stars and, most of the time, black holes. In this podcast, I describe which of these features can be observed at various wavelengths, from radio waves to gamma-rays.

Bio: Melanie Gendre is a postdoctoral researcher at the Jodrell Bank Center for Astrophysics in Manchester (UK). Her work primarily focuses on radio observations of galaxies, with a special interests in Active Galactic Nuclei.
