Today we bring you William F Nolan’s “Time Door.” Originally appearing in the Fantastic Universe in November 1956, this story reminds us that it is always easy to sometimes just do something backwards, and sometimes … It’s really important to get things right. Space craft are one of those things that allow no errors, and, as we learned with Mars Polar Landers crash – a crash caused by an error in measurement units – the simplest mistakes can have devastating costs.
