Description: Learning Space is back this week to celebrate the launch of the book “Making Waves: The Story of Ruby Payne-Scott – Australian Pioneer Radio Astronomer” with its author, Dr. W. M. Goss, a radio astronomer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. We’ll talk about his quest to find out more about the first female radio astronomer and the pioneering work she did before her story was almost lost to history.
Bio: Nicole Gugliucci is a postdoctoral astronomer and educator with CosmoQuest. Now at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville;
