Description:  The CLSE Hangout series explores the modern Lunar exploration as we consider the science, technology, training, and education that are required to understand our nearest neighbor and prepare for the eventual return of mankind.

In this episode, we interview the Dr. David Kring (LPI) about the structure of CLSE, from addressing the highest science priorities identified by NRC for NASA, to integrating lunar science with exploration activities to enhance mission productivity, to generating expertise to meet the nation’s needs and providing a pipeline of knowledge for students and the public.

The CLSE hangout is a collaboration between LPI and CosmoQuest.

Bio:  Dr. Pamela Gay is a professor at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and Director of Cosmoquest.
