Description: Have you ever you looked up at the full Moon on a clear night and wondered what it would be like to see it up close? With the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission, we’re getting some of the best views ever of our next door neighbor in space, and since its mission began in 2009, LRO has been sending back beautiful high resolution views of the lunar surface, thanks to the Lunar Reconnaissance orbiter camera, or LROC.
Bio: The NLSI brings together leading lunar scientists from around the world to further NASA lunar science and exploration.
