While our year has been officially full for quite some time, we are running into issues where people who signed up for a podcast don’t deliver. In those cases we rely on having a few podcasts on ready reserve that we can put in at the last moment.
We would be honored if some of you who missed out reserving a date would prepare a podcast for this purpose. Just follow the normal rules and prepare your podcast. When you are ready to send it to us, email us and we’ll send you a link to the uploader. We will let you know if/when we use your podcast and you will get full credit just like everybody else.
Given that we are just about out of ready reserve podcasts, there is a very, very good chance your podcast will be used if you send it to us.
Thank you in advance!
I can turn content on Blog on the Universe into podcast, and provide new content as add on.
How big is your audience? This will take a bit of effort – I don’t have the professional equipment and I’d want it to sound professional. But if I do this I want to know there is a substantial audience.

For my part, I won’t offer to record an episode, but I have occasionally pondered the question of what theme I would choose if I did.
My best (and, to be honest, pretty much only) idea is for an episode that updates and corrects the Galaxy Song (you know, the Monty Python one, from Meaning of Life). An example of an update is the discovery last year that the galaxy is rotating a little faster than we thought, and an example of a correction is that the expansion of the universe has nothing at all to do with the speed of light.
… As fast as it can go, getting faster now we know
Something’s dark and energetic but we don’t know what it is …
^ I like that idea! 🙂
