We’ve gotten a great response in our first few days. Please keep it up! What we want to happen is exactly what is happening — we are getting interest from first timers and experienced podcasters and from students, amateurs, grad students and professionals.
A podcast per day is pretty ambitious. We can’t do this alone. We need somewhere between 30 and 365 participants. So be brave, you can do it! I’d especially like to encourage people to sign up for January and February, because we have to fill those dates. Then, if you enjoy yourself, you’ll still have time to sign up for another.
We’ll respond to email in good time, so don’t be concerned if you don’t hear from us, you will soon.
A page here about audio formats would be helpful. What’s your preference? MP3? MP4? AIFF? WAV? And how do we send the finished files to you? Email attachment? CD-ROM?
So many questions, my little Roseannadanna…
😆

Those details will be forthcoming, but we are probably going to ask for AIFF or WAV files when possible, and MP3 when not. Email should be fine for delivery since they are only 10 minutes or so. We can set up something FTP-like if necessary.
Thanks!
Do the podcasts need to be new? We have a library of over 40 Chandra podcasts that could be repurposed slightly for 365 days.
No, as long as they are your own, there is no requirement that they be created exclusively for 365.
