The Discover the Cosmos summer school and conference is taking place this week in Volos, Greece. Nearly 200 attendees are converging on the site from all corners of the world. While this is awesome, we know that financial limitations and visa difficulties meant that some people who wished to attend just couldn’t. To help these folks out, and to help everyone in the world who wants to learn more about astronomy education, we’ll be streaming this conference live via Google Hangouts on Air. This is something of an experiment – we’re going to be relying on hotel internet and… that may not work. In hopes of capturing every moment for you, we will be recording everything with a video camera as well as trying to stream it live.
For now, here are links to every session! All Times are Pacific. The conference, however, is in Eastern Europe (GMT +3), so sessions may not be conveniently timed for all viewers.
