Ticket to Ride Tournament

If you like to play Ticket to Ride, then you should enter our Ticket to Ride tournament!

More information about the rules and the schedule is available here.

The plan is to have a series of one-on-one games using some of the maps available in the electronic versions of the games. In order to play, you will need to own a copy of Ticket to Ride, either in Steam or one of the standalone versions (as long as they can connect to the Days of Wonder games).

Players should play competitively. If you need a route that you think your opponent needs, claim it. Bear in mind that in two-player games, parallel routes can only be claimed by one person. Plan accordingly!

The following stats for each player in a game should be submitted using the tracking form that will be posted in the Discord when the games start:

  • Player score
  • Number of route cards completed
  • Number of route cards not completed
  • Number of cars left at the end of the game.

The maps we’ll be using are, in no particular order:

  • USA – Big Cities
  • Europe – Big Cities
  • Nordic Countries
  • Germany
  • Switzerland
  • Asia

If we manage to exhaust this list, we can add India.

The competition is avoiding maps that have complex mechanics, such as Pennsylvania, United Kingdom and UK Advanced, and France.
