A bright future rising

This is a quick post because we don’t have a lot of details. We just got word that the proposal that we submitted to NASA last May has been approved to move forward. This gives a shiny new 5 year future and means that future Hangoutathons are going to be 36 hours of science and not 36 hours of begging and science. We don’t have a lot of details, but as we get them, we’ll share them out.

For now, I just feel like channeling my inner Sally Field, and smily gleefully saying, “You like us! You really really like us!

Full list of recipients, and press release are available on NASA.gov.
