The Great American Eclipse was a wonderful event – and in case you didn’t get to experience totality from where you were, we have you covered. Our own Dr. Pamela L. Gay from CosmoQuest and the Astronomical Society of the Pacific was on location in Carbondale, IL, the site of longest totality, all day with The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore, giving amazing science commentary during their coast-to-coast coverage of the eclipse. You can check out all of The Weather Channel’s coverage here – Pamela, and our friend from the Weekly Space Hangout, Dr. Paul Matt Sutter, appear throughout the day with explanations, science commentary, and useful advice for how to enjoy the eclipse at home!
