This morning, 450 runners who were in San Francisco for the American Geophysical Union’s Fall Meeting 2016 departed Pier 40 at 7 AM PST to participate in two races. The 5K and 1 Mile both started and ended at South Beach Harbor at Pier 40, the intersection of The Embarcadero and Townsend Street next door to AT&T Park San Francisco. A portion of each entry fee supported the AGU Bright Students Training as Research Scientists (Bright STaRS) Program.
