Ok, folks, we’re finally getting some well-needed updating done to our website!

We’re introducing the base site this week, and will continue to introduce new features and sections soon – including our new and improved Mapper Apps, making it even easier to map craters on the Moon, Mercury, Mars, Asteroids and more.

We are adding more resources for scientists to use creating their own citizen science projects, and to share resources and data. We’re already taking applications from researchers who’d like to create new citizen science projects and interfaces, and we’ll add those as they are developed, increasing the number of citizen science opportunities we have available!

We’ve already debuted the new and improved CosmoAcademy, with courses of study available for the general public, and continuing education credits for teachers and subject matter experts. We’re in the process of adding more faculty and classes to our schedule.

We’re expanding our resources for teachers – more science, more lesson plans and more resources to use in the classroom. We’re adding more support for using NASA and Mapper data in school science fair projects, making it easier for teachers and parents to help their students create unique, innovative projects.

We’re adding more resources for planetariums to add to their repositories, free to use. They’ll be getting access to full planetarium shows as well as supplemental video and photography that they can incorporate into their own shows.
