Starting Wednesday, February 13, the CosmoQuest team is joining forces with My Moon to bring you new updates on lunar science! At least once a month, and sometimes more often, we will be cohosting Google Plus Hangouts designed to be youth-friendly, interesting to adults, and welcoming to all.

During our inaugural show, the Lunar Planetary Institutes Andy Shaner will host Michael Vergalla from Moon Express. This young commercial company is on its way to building NASA’s next-generation of lunar Landers.  Today, Moon Express is building a series of robotic spacecraft to the Moon for exploration and commercial development! The company’s inaugural mission, MoonEx-1, is in competition for the Google Lunar X PRIZE. Tune in to learn all about the comfortable ride that will make tomorrow’s journey to the moon.
