This episode is coming to you late because sometimes we’re guilty of just wanting to see how a story ends. 2 weeks ago, I was planning to drive to the Space Coast and try to watch Hera launch on October 7 and Clipper launch on October 10. Instead… I watched from home as a hurricane named Milton tore across Florida and spawned more than 120 tornadoes. Ally, our producer, and I talked that afternoon, as I watched Max Velocity on YouTube. We decided to hold off recording until we knew if KSC would come through ok, and when launch was announced for Monday Oct 14.,.. We waited to see if Clipper would join Hera in having a successful launch.

So here we are… a week late and 2 more space craft richer and in our closer look, I’m going to take you on a tour of what we can dream of learning in the coming years as these missions make their way through our solar system to their targets in the asteroid belt and around Jupiter.

We’re also going to look at black holes, and the confusion that is the StarShip program and IFT-5’s launch and spicy landing.
