Meet our Hosts
Georgia Bracey is an education researcher with a desire to share the wonders of science with anyone and everyone. Having taught 5th grade for 13 years, she returned to school to learn even more SCIENCE! She received her MS in Physics and is currently a PhD candidate, studying science education and researching the use of citizen science in the traditional classroom. Georgia has been an amateur astronomer for many years and loves the outdoors, hiking, and gardening. However, when it’s too cold for all that, she’s perfectly content to curl up on the couch with a good sci-fi book, a cup of really hot tea, and a couple of cats.
Learning Space is produced as part of CosmoQuest at the STEM Center @SIUE as part of the 365 Days of Astronomy Project.
Funding for this series has been provided through NASA ROSES EPOESS Grant NNX12AB92G and through the generous contributions of people like you.
