Welcome to the 553rd Carnival of Space! The Carnival is a community of space science and astronomy writers and bloggers, who submit their best work each week for your benefit. So now, on to this week’s stories!

First up, a roundup of stories from Universe Today. To kick it off, Fraser Cain has a great Interview With Dr. Alan Stern and Dr. David Grinspoon, Authors of Chasing New Horizons.

Then, Matt tells us how there is Evidence for Thousands of Black Holes Buzzing Around the Center of the Milky Way.

Finally, Matt asks about how The Future of Our Sun is Still a Bit of a Puzzle. What Will Happen When it Dies?

Next, we head over to The Hill for the details on the NASA drone headed for Mars

After that, we head over to Blasting News to hear about how NASA plans to fly a helicopter on Mars.

We also hear about Why ‘The Right Stuff’ is Tom Wolfe’s greatest book!

And finally we end up at The Daily Caller, hearing about how Lamar Smith Causes Cognitive Dissonance By Getting NASA Back Into SETI.

Thank you for all of your stories – we’ll see you next week!

And if you’re interested in looking back, here’s an archive to all the past Carnivals of Space. If you’ve got a space-related blog, you should really join the carnival. Just email an entry to susie@wshcrew.space, and the next host will link to it. It will help get awareness out there about your writing, help you meet others in the space community – and community is what blogging is all about. And if you really want to help out, sign up to be a host. Send an email to the above address.
