I consider a planet to be very much defined by where it is. Sort of part of the address of things. There is a sun, with ordered planets, each of which can have moons. I don’t mind using the word “World” for these things, that doesn’t imply much to me as having a location; but if you use “planet” to just mean a substantial body in space, then we will still need to get some new terminology to describe location.
