Description: Your intrepid Producer & Editor Richard Drumm grabbed some interviews while at Dragon Con this August. Here we learn about Steve Ramsden of the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project. The Project is a non-profit educational program and could really use your help in getting its educational opportunities to kids in the region.

The third annual fundraiser for the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project is going on now. It’s a 501c3 that survives solely off of public donations. Each $100 US donation earns you a chance to win a Lunt Solar Systems pressure tuned LS80/B1200 Hydrogen Alpha solar telescope.

You can donate to them and see the raffle particulars at: http://www.solarastronomy.org/
