I wanted to use a moderator smell to distinguish my moderation comments, but the Insert Smell feature is not going to be supported until at least version 7.0 of vBulletin.

For example this part of the post is done with SMELL="wetdog"

Nuclear reactors are not allowed to be members of BAUT, because they are entirely too critical.

In Ohio, possession of an alien weighing less than 5 kg is a misdemeanor. Possession of an alien weighing more than 5 kg is a felony, punishable by a term of from 1 to 5 years for a first offense. Possession with intent to sell can result in a term of up to 25 years in prison.

The aliens at Area 51 need not worry about Arizona law enforcement, as it is a federal reservation. This is small comfort while being dissected.

Possession of an alien weighing 30g or less can be considered to be for personal use only and attracts no jail time, only smelly hippies.

A recent study (J. Applied Meteorology, 137, 2472-2476, 2010 ) has found that mobile homes actually do attract tornadoes. When the concentration of mobile homes exceeds a threshold value (nominally 17.37 MH/km2), that the paths of tornadoes passing within 20 km was deflected by as much as 31o towards the area of highest maximum MH density.

There is something sad about all these mobile homes not being terribly mobile when it comes to the crunch.

Well, if the Universe is cyclic and we will eventually face the Big Crunch, I don't really think that mobile homes will be in any way worse off than most objects in the Universe.

    Or maybe I misunderstood.

Wookiees love Whoopie Pies; their home planet has hundreds of bakeries for making Whoopie Pies.

Whoopee Cushions and Whoopee Pies were both invented by Whoopee Goldberg, who later changed the spelling of her name to Oprah.

A recent critique of her involvement hinted at Oprah's financial mismanagement of the hall, as well as "the remodeling blunder of the decade" that sacrificed acoustics for aesthetics.

Recent experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have proven that electrons do not have mass, but they do have a daily meditation moment.

The above post contains a misprint. We meant "moss" not "mass". As they say, a spinning electron gathers no moss.

Somehow things got confused in the translation from jibberish.

And whoever lieth in the potential well of his enemy shall forgoeth the conservation of symmetries, and he SHALL offer a Sin offering in atonement consisting of 30 ephras (about 1.723 Teravolts) of fine grain, and a young kid without blemish, and Angelina Jolie in the penthouse suite; leaveth the Door open, for I know not the day nor the hour when I can getteth out of this MEETING, as it concerneth S.O.P.s and the Sixth of SIgmas.

Sister Mary Johnson couldn't be here today so joining us now is Rowan Atkinson doing a silent version of Henry Rollins' spoken word album Hot Animal Machine.
