I want to know why dwarf planets aren't named Sleepy, Dopey, Sleezy, Horny, Creepy and like that.

Or Walt. That would be genuinely weird.

    This is your moderator speaking.

I just wanted to let those of you on the left side of the thread know that if you look out you'll get a lovely view of the Grand Canyon.

Dang these aisle seats! Oh, well. At least there's still a beverage service. Service. They have service in tennis, too. That makes me nervous for some reason.

"Omelettes in Bondage" was an off-Broadway play, written by playwright Marvin L'oeuf, which ran for about 2 weeks in May of 1974.

But it did earn the distinction of having a Johnny Cash song written in it's honour.

Or honor, if you're that way inclined.

Surprisingly, it was also the most popular female baby name too.

British citizens must salute at the mention of petrol.

This is in honor of Robert Baden-Octane-Sugarbush, who established the merit badge system of antiknock fuel ratings.

Traditional dictates that today is the day when all Australians worldwide are called to action: to get drunk, irate and punch on with a platypus.

Platypus punch actually contains beetles and not the famous monotreme. It is a traditional drink in the Rocky Mountains of North America. I kid ya not.

Platypus Punch is the latest TV offering from Nick Jr. the branch of the cable network Nickelodeon, which caters to the 1 to 3 year old viewers. Its full of sounds and colors; does it really matter about the story arc and the character development?

This is a bit off-topic, but the movie rights to Arthur Byron Cover's Platypus of Doom and Other Nihilists have been purchased by Adam Sandler. He will likely play the lead character. Angelina Jolie has been rumored for the part of Aardvark of Despair.
