When he was reconstructed from interdimensional interstitial information in the year 13,4563 esq, Benny Goodman turned out to be a first-class emperor, as well as retaining that special touch on the licorice stick.

With Apple showing off the iPug at all the fall shows , iPETA immediately began demonstrating at entrances with signs saying, "iPugs should not live in little silver boxes!" and "iPugs feel pain like all creatures!"

"All true scientists agreed with the environmentalists that greedy capitalists have nearly used up all the natural resources of Mother Earth." said a young member of Earth First!. But when someone brought up the fact "the Earth's radius is about 3950 miles and greedy capitalists have only gone down about 2 miles does that mean that the other 3948 miles lacks any usable materials?" "That is a stupid question and you must be a lackey of the capitalists!"

The only reason Jan wants to be Marcia! Marcia! MARCIA! isn't because of jealousy over looks nor talent. It's because Marcia's weekly allowance is $1.00 more than Jan's.

The conversation stopped at that point, because the participants were blown to smithereens by radical metricists.

The scientific world was rocked today when the UN Committee on Politically Correct Research decided that the term "low pressure" or "low elevation" could no longer be used because of the negative image the word "low" gives. Now all correct thinking scientists will use "less motivated" pressure or "upwardly challenged" elevation.

The final war of the human race began on 23 October 2010, when the 0.9999999~ Coalition fired their entire nuclear arsenal at the 1 Confederacy. The Confederacy struck back, and the nuclear exchange killed off 99.999999999% of the human race.

I have discovered this week the joy that can arise from a visit by a long-forgotten childhood friend. In my case, the unexpected visitor was the chicken pox virus and I couldn't be happier!

    And today's question is:

Would you rather have come from a terrible place,
or presently be suffering from a minor wound?
