    Ghosts of Christmas Dinners future

Now that the Holiday Feasts are leftovers (or worse), it is time to complete the trifecta.

No poll this time. Just a simple question. What would be your perfect feast?

Let's say the Food Network awarded your immediate family a holiday feast (pick your holiday) prepared by one of their Iron Chefs. What would be on the menu?

    Sushi!

No really. It's something I don't dare making for myself, and there's just so much excellent stuff around to try.

I like steak and pepperoni pizza, but I eat those a lot because I like them. If someone else were giving me the food I should probably choose something expensive. I don't know what would be good, though. I don't eat out much and very rarely anywhere nice.

Just rambling for a bit. . . as in I'll change my mind later. . . a traditional upper class Victorian feast with roast goose, a superbly seasoned potato dish, a dressing/stuffing to delight the senses along with a whole cranberry sauce, a well-prepared sweet potato dish ending with a some sweet delicacy such as sugarplums. Beverage would be a well-made eggnog along with some good wine.

Yeah, it is a fantasy meal.

I'd like a dinner that was small servings of a vast variety of "main course" items. That I way I could stuff myself without feeling that I over ate anything in particular.
