I was hoping for a visit from Claus
Thinking I had earned it truly because
I've been good all year long
Rarely did anything wrong
But it seems I broke some petty old laws

I'll never go falconing again
Not even sneaking about now and then
The big fuss that was made
'Bout some pets in a glade
Has left so empty the tree in my den

So be certain to avoid my sad fate
Noble yet irksome hobbies can wait
Til next year's bounty comes
Keep urges under thumb
Then cry havok and woe unto the bait

In the year past
I lost my job
now they'll have to recast
nearly down to my last bob

I drank a lot coke
while in the dentist chair
he gave them a poke
one was nearly not there

I was able to spend more time
with my neices who I adore
I have nothing here to rhyme
did a lot things in the outdoor

I now must find a job
where hardly any exists
and i can not be a snob
no matter how I like to sits

Thanks, davidlpf. I am currently elbows-deep in spreadsheet modeling for our possible VC backers, tracking down original manufacturers to go around the marketing middlemen, and trying to figure how to manage extending consumer durable goods credit, if at all, in a market that has no functioning credit agency... Good news is we will only need a 0.5% target market penetration (50,000 high income families, and not counting the many biz customers) to make money.

One surprise during research has been that even major Western banks in Ghana do not answer emails. I have not had one answer from anyone; luckily we do have a man on the ground who does get back to me... in slow mo, tho.

Thank goodness I've been a spreadsheet freak since VisiCalc on the Apple II; I somehow enjoy the numbers madness!

As promised, will report back to BAUT once on the ground there. Going to Miami in just a coupla weeks, then onward.
