The name "Universe Today" ?

I just watched Babylon 5 season 2 episode 19 and about 50 seconds into the episode they stood there talking about the paper "Universe Today". My question is if the name Universe Today got inspiration from that or how the name of the webpage came to be?

There's four distinct possibilities:

1) Purely coincidental.

2) Babylon 5 based it on Universe Today.

3) Universe Today based it on Babylon 5's fictitious newspaper.

4) They both were inspired by the same source, which was not each other.

Most likely both were inspired by "USA Today", one of the most popular nationwide newspapers (in the USA).

Certainly the Babylon 5 fictional newspaper was inspired by "USA Today". I don't know about the web site.

My bet is that both were inspired by USA Today. For one thing, I believe Babylon 5 also had Mars Today and Universe Today (the website) was not in existence back when the showed premiered. (1992?)
