Wasn't that thing the real source of the Ross Perot "giant sucking sound" that was going to destroy the US economy?

    Politics! Politics, Teacher!

Anyhow, didn't Phil Spector invent the "Wall of Giant Sucking Sound" for rock 'n roll back in the 60's?

Which reached its pinnacle in the 70's with the band ELO, the Electrolux Orchestra.

The abbreviated "sucking sound" still lives on to this day through the ring tone music of Akon.

As anyone seen my missing huge nozzle? It is long, wide and shinny, has a hole at the end and can be heard making loud sucking sounds.

I saw it on Google Earth!

Using a nozzle for sucking is not very efficient. They are better for spraying. The Great Red Nozzle on Jupiter is a good example of this.

Well then, nozzletoff, lets meet at the nozzletorium for a beer, then over to the nozzeleum to pay respect to our fallen homies. For shozzle, ma nozzle.

Actually, that's on a warship. So it's on the ocean.

Wait, it is now in a museum. On land.

That's the problem with huge nozzles, they move around.

Don't I know it. I had box tickets for the Chesterville nozzle suck/blow evaluations - but it moved before opening day!

No, but warships tend to dominate the big nozzle industry. Unlike Armymen, who don't have big nozzles, Sailors are less inclined to want to run away from burning stuff, due to that whole drowning/hypothermia/getting eaten by sharks thing. Marines benefit from our big nozzles by proxy. The Air Force? I'm sure they have some sort of contractors to handle their big nozzle needs.

Sounds reasonable, but a nozzle the size in the OP to put out fires? How could you handle that thing when its so huge you could fit a whole lot of sea men inside of it? It begs the question: Do sea men use their large nozzles to put out fires - or do large nozzles use their sea men to put out fires? Who's got controll?

That would be phallophobia. At least, fear of nozzles pointing upwards.
