Let's say I have an observer on a planet with some radius. There is a plank centered directly above the observer at some distance with a source of light at each end. Now, since the ends are offset by some angle to the axis that runs directly from the center of the planet, through the observer, and to the center of the plank, while the plank is tangent to that axis, what angle do I use in the Schwarzschild metric?
