    Fair it goes
    Where e'r it goes
    Tilling earth
    Beneath its toes
    Some spurt of rhyme
    Till sleeping time
So does the ferret dance, sir
To it our coaxes never chime
    To ferret out the answer

Can I pay the ferret woman? I bought those flowers from her and I think I need to pay for them.

Group theory is an effective tool for determining ferret handedness. That is, if ferrets had hands.

Oh my. They must! For how else, under persuasion, could they take up knitting? Unless this entire thread was based upon a typo and should have read "kitting", meaning reproduction of baby ferrets. I'm nervous.....and confused........what's next?.....Oh dear.......

We could shine a polarized light at them and see if they have chirality.

That's putting quite a spin on the issue.

Since I have a PhD, does that make me a spin doctor?

ROTFL. One would think so, however, I have a JD, so I have a license to spin

Even more ironic, I had one post-doc I did where I worked on materials called spin glasses (true fact).

I have a variety of spin glasses I wear when interviewing clients. For example:

Scottsdale divorce - Ray Ban Classic 321's

Union Representative - Coleman Protective Poly Guards (USA edition)

Alleged drug dealer - Elton John Rhinestone Series

Pro bono work - U.S. Army issue black frame, with white tape around center nose piece.

I always wondered when Bono lost his amateur status.

You too? I've wondering about that since Sunday, bloody Sunday, and maybe since New Year's Day.

You may ask: " How do we make money on 'pro bono' work? " The answer: " Volume " .

I like to read the BAUT banned / suspended posters log like a game of D&D: Mr X rolls a 7, and gets 3 days time out from the hall of enchanted wrangle-bots.

(To me, Bono is just a theoretical Mars sized planet, thawing out around the same distance from the Sun as Earth. gamefreak has the rest of the details.)

Russel's Teapot Dome Scandal in the 1920's has been largely forgotten.

It's strange because despite the quality scripts and highly respectable actresses, Abstinence and the Country never took off.

    A Country Practice, however...

You shouldn't be giving out the moderator secrets like that, please roll percentile dice... sorry, you didn't make your saving throw. You find yourself in a maze of twisty passages, all alike, for the next three days.

Because, among the four of them, they have had sex with everyone in the city, including all the ferrets.

That is definitely the best description of the franchise I have ever read.

By the way, franchises are available in most major markets. There will be an informational session in the West Park Holiday Inn next Thursday at 6 p.m., for those who are interested in this exciting opportunity to own your own business.

Offer good only in locations where prostitution and Manolo Blahnik shoes are legal. Your results may vary. Not for internal use.

Well, we've got Birkenstocks and Hackey Sacks here, is that close enough to get a piece of the pie?

No, that would be in the Pie! thread. Here you can get a piece of the action.

Today's word is ferreteria, which is either a cafeteria for ferrets or a hardware store.

There have been significant injuries caused by incorrectly assuming the definition actually in force at the time (10:27 AM)

Is that a cafeteria that cooks ferrets and serves them to people, or a cafeteria cooks dishes to feed to ferrets?
