2012 is giving me a Headache

What do people think of the whole idea that we are entering another dimension/shift of consciounes/higher vibrations ect.

It's a cop-out. After the world doesn't end, people will try to save face by talking about how we've entered this shift of consciousness or whatever, but you have to be enlightened to notice.

Also what are they talking about when they go on about "flipping the switch".

The "flipping the switch" sounded like they were talking a Large Hadron Collider experiment that happened awhile ago (check the date on the video, it's well over a year old). But since the video is from Coast to Coast AM, why not go their site and ask them about it?

I have flashbacks to my childhood during the 60s and the musical Hair. Makes for a good show, but not an explanation of any modern physics.

If you think of the world as a techno-culture world.
Then the world has ended quite a few times.
There was a world where all of the energy came from horses, and the world of steam , then a world of locomotion, electricity ,and our current world is of information.
From the perspective of the farmer that never saw electricity or diesel fuel, that world has ended.
