    Jupiter, GRS, Impact

Well the GRS is setting on the limb and the impact rising on the southern limb. I was able to image it (Impact) before the rain storm approached not under ideal conditions but managed to take 9 sets. If worth it will post the others as a sequence.

How long do you suppose it will be visible? How long was shoemaker/ levy 9 visible after impact?

It really is a shame we did not have the Galileo spacecraft still up there.

    Thanks Andy.
Papa Surf, On the last inpact it last about 10 days or so. It all depends on the inner and surface currents.
    Glom, Yep thats it.
Thanks Ozz, You still have time to image it before it fades.
    Thanks (Saludos) Cesar, (Muchas Gracias)
