    Telescope wheels

    Hi all.
I bought a set of casters for my Vixen 8 inch from (Clayton Cramer) he makes these casters for a lot of different scopes. I was about to sell the Vixen because I had a very hard time getting it out of the house, and I got tired of taken it apart and putting it back together to play then doing the same to get it inside again.

I have the very first caster set for the Vixen Hal-130 ever made. the scope rolls great and the stops hole it in place when in the lock mode. I am so very pleased with this system it works very well. I now can with ease take the scope out and bring it in with out any worry of hurting the scope or me. Here is a photo of my Vixen and the Clayton casters. You can see his site at (scoperoller.com) With out his caster system I would not have been able to use the Vixen and I would have let it go.. Clear skies to all. Paul

I figure the larger the wheels, the better. I have a wooden wheely bar setup for my telescope that uses 4 inch wheels.
