It's ridiculous that folks in Western countries are apparently this ignorant about basic astronomy, that information has to be posted every time.
Of course the same-said folks could rattle off 5 pages' worth of detailed info about the latest bubble-headed starlet. :-\
Not always. I am considered The Source for astronomical information for my friends (sad but true), and at least one of them forwarded me this the first time it went around. I believe she was in law school at the time and knows, and knew, no more about bubble-headed starlets than I. It's fun to look down on people who don't know as much as we do, but there is always someone looking down on us for the same thing.
