Which I Dream of Jeannie theme song is better?

Ok, a call for a courtesy vote:

Which "I Dream of Jeannie" show opening theme song is cuter?

    A. 1965: that black and white version , I think she is dancing around

    B. 1966-1970: the color version, when the capsule falls into the ocean

I liked the '65 one better, less hard staccato brass.

    I agree.

The 65 one is super cute, and sticks in my head.

Boy, was that a delightful series.

    there were two?

I never realized there were two versions.

Since I like hard staccato brass, I suppose I probably like the 2nd one better.

For those who haven't heard them, here they are courtesy of YouTube
    Season one intro
    Season two intro
Not 100% sure, but I think this one's the Season three and later intro

I understand there was actually three intro sequences made, with the season three being the one used once it got syndicated.

Should have put up a poll. The third theme is the same as the second except that the instruments are different. I'll take the second theme.

I agree. No matter which version it was, I just wanted to get past it.

But; the original original opening was what I liked best. It had actual footage from that mythical place called "Cape Kennedy"*

*Which, by the way, was the official name for 10 years.

I was preoccupied with other issues during those years....like which 'Dick' made the better Darren on 'Bewitched'....Dick York or Dick Sargent. Both of whom were only surpassed by the Major in 'I Dream of Jeannie' as the least imaginative males in the human race.

    I think I see what you're saying

Anyway, I'd vote for Dick York since you mentioned it.

Has anyone poked around Encyclopedia Astronautica enough to find these in the "Phantom Cosmonauts" section?
