Ok, a call for a courtesy vote:
Which "I Dream of Jeannie" show opening theme song is cuter?
A. 1965: that black and white version , I think she is dancing around
B. 1966-1970: the color version, when the capsule falls into the ocean

I liked the '65 one better, less hard staccato brass.
I never realized there were two versions.
Since I like hard staccato brass, I suppose I probably like the 2nd one better.

Should have put up a poll. The third theme is the same as the second except that the instruments are different. I'll take the second theme.
I agree. No matter which version it was, I just wanted to get past it.
But; the original original opening was what I liked best. It had actual footage from that mythical place called "Cape Kennedy"*
*Which, by the way, was the official name for 10 years.
I was preoccupied with other issues during those years....like which 'Dick' made the better Darren on 'Bewitched'....Dick York or Dick Sargent. Both of whom were only surpassed by the Major in 'I Dream of Jeannie' as the least imaginative males in the human race.
I prefer the color version.

Has anyone poked around Encyclopedia Astronautica enough to find these in the "Phantom Cosmonauts" section?
