    a friends Moon image

    Hi all.
This image was taken by a good friend of mine (Al Paslow) who is a maker and collector of telescopes, also he is the current director of the Mingo astronomy observatory/club here in western Pa.. This photo was taken using a very old 4 inch Edmund F=15 refractor and a nikon 990 with a 20mm eye piece. He sent this to me and I cleaned it up. This is a wonderful image taken with such a small scope. We hope you enjoy. Clear skies to all.
    Paul and Al.

    Gosh, Paul...That...is...so...beautiful...such detail.
Please do thank Mr Paslow, for his excellent picture he sent to share.

(now i really miss my Kodak Retina....old things are so beautifully crafted and are so wonderful to work with)

thanks for your contribution to the clean up too, Paul.
and thanks for sharing it all.

Paul, the more I look at Mr Paslow's image, the more awesome it feels.
I suspect I am frequently going to imagine walking on the surface, in that Magnificient Desolation, so beautifully captured.

    Thank you both.

    edit:
Paul, I am presently cogitating about setting up / compiling an album of lunar photographs, from here at BAUT.
Would you and or Mr Paslow mind, if I included, this picture?
