Well, your earlier post did remind me to watch how they spelled it.

I know, but no one else ever seems to pick up on it. Nor my good example in italicizing. (Which I'm fairly sure you can't actually do on poll options, so that's not intended as a slam at you by any means.)

Well, I really don't know if I could italicize in the polls but the editing icons are nowhere to be seen on the poll setup page. I'd rather not see brackets all over the poll question.

    I have two questions:

    1) How does voting for "None of the above" differ from not voting at all?
    2) Since you're allowing multiple choices, what happens if somebody votes for some of the shows and "None of the above"?

If they aren't there, I assume you can't use 'em. I'd rather not see the brackets, too. I was more commenting on posts in any thread discussing a TV show, a movie, a book. I italicize them all, as you are supposed to, and it's invariably followed by people using quotation marks or nothing at all. Italics or underlining for long works; quotation marks for short.

None of the above is merely a placer for those who want to mark that they have considered the poll and didn't want to vote for any of the selections. I usually don't include it because I often have had so many poll selections that it is much faster and doesn't flood the board so badly if I do a full five instead of four. In this case, I did 6 polls of four (plus a three) instead of 5 polls of five (with a two). I decided the extra poll wouldn't hurt.

So "none of the above" is simply ignored. Only positive votes count.
