An absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, awesome, etc. weekend here in the Pacific NW! Mostly clear and mid 70's--one of those weekends that makes suffering through weeks of drizzle worth it. Unfortunately not clear enough to get my telescope out...I guess I can't complain though. I was able to get all caught up on the yardwork.

Just spent an awesome week on Cape Cod. Dry, warm and delightful. Great chamber of commerce weather.
The promise of golf was fulfilled. Nice dry sand bunkers. I got out each time to great effect. Stayed an extra day.
    Life and weather was good.
Today, we got some much needed rain with a breeze behind it. 52 , cloudy with the odd shower. Good timing.

And again today. I could get used to this.

    Is it gone yet?

I had 24 cm in the crawl space for six weeks during our flood in 2007.

    Rainy. Windy. Chilly. Spring.

Although it was pleasant this weekend. For once we get the good weather on the weekend as opposed to the work week.

Yup! Lots of waves splashing against the south side of the Hood Canal Bridge as we crossed. Now that I'm back at the main place, the lawn is too long and it's not looking good for mowing it tomorrow.

Some Really Bad Weather (tm) was supposed to come through right around dinner time. I figured it would, since we were going out for dinner at the big, open-air shopping center (Easton Towne Center.) It was very nice all day, and carried through the evening. It's raining now (started about 10:30,) and we're under sever weather warnings, but it's not bad yet.

Rain.... in a big way. We've saved the farm ! Actually it's been quite dry. Brush fires had threatened.
But it "would" rain on my gold day Got 45 F , calm and socked in. Good for the flowers.

Currently a mild 43F here. I was hoping for some snow Monday, but it's not looking as promising.

Oh my yes! It's been pouring this afternoon. That's actually not usual, compared to just constant drizzle.

A storm is brewing. Cloudy gray sky with plenty o' thunderheads. We have a 50% chance of rain...which means it WILL rain. It's been months. Yay! Nice temp, probably 70 F. A slight stirring breeze.

We had a steady (sometimes heavy) rainfall last evening for nearly 2 hours (most rainfall in desert lasts 15 minutes). Thunder and lightning. Temp dropped 20 degrees. Towards end of storm, to the northeast were the most pronounced Mammatus clouds I've yet seen in this area; portions hung low enough to cast shadows on those behind them. Beautiful rainbow. Breeze kicked up. Very refreshing!

More rain/thunder in forecast for today. Currently hazy/cloudy light overcast. Refreshing temp of probably 65 F. Calm.

We were actually in Sedro a few days ago and were surprised that it rained, since it was nicer in Everett. I kept thinking about what a hotbed of hurling that small community is!

Raining. A soft and steady rainfall. Sky completely overcast, light gray. Earlier rumbling thunder, since stopped. Calm. Temp probably 80 F. Rain now picking up (as I type); becoming more brisk. We need this; enjoying it!
