Old Man Frost getting another nip at us. Very cool, overcast, sprinkles of rain. This morning (pre-8:00 a.m.) temp was a chilly 33 F. Current temp probably 55 F.

Today, around noon, became windy (gusts to 30 mph) which made the 61 F high feel cooler. Partly cloudy; of the limp, tattered type (ugh). It's currently 8:24 p.m.; winds have died down. Cool, probably 48 F.

It was violently windy here in Central Florida, wonderfully so, but the humidity was such that I was dripping.

    Tonight is nicely cool, though.

(I'm a transplant from the actual United States, 'way up north.)

warm days and cool nights mean icy conditions here which also mean slip and fall season. I fall down hard twice in 4 days, the last time was yesterday and I am still in some pain.
...I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me.

Wow, is it often that windy in Florida sans a hurricane or thunderstorm? I don't miss humidity at all. The Midwest (born/raised) was mostly very humid (ugh).

Today is gorgeous. Started out nippy with light frost on car. Now it's sunny, warm (probably 67 F), a light breeze.

Snowing prety steady this morning but not cold enough to accumulate much. Reminded me of that old classic "I'm Dreaming of a White President's Day."

SE England officially in drought, least rainfall this year for (I think they said) at least 100 years, earliest hose pipe ban (soon) on record etc.

Gray, rainy, Puget Sound February. We often have a false spring around this time of year and everyone gets all eager about their gardening. Then February comes back and lasts until July.

First robin already, danscope? In that part of the country! I'm surprised.

High thin wispy clouds. Otherwise very sunny. Current (9:07 a.m. CST) temp probably a cool 47 F. High today supposed to be 67 F. Calm.

We have robins year-round, but they're not the same robins. The winter robins move up into the mountains for the summer, and the summer robins come up from further south.

The best description of yesterday here is "unsettled." Hard rain in the wee hours, followed by fairly high winds, followed by sun. The temperature display in the car said 50F late in the afternoon but it sure didn't feel that warm.

    Hi all!
I'm in the Pacific North West and the weather here is pretty cold! I'd say right now it's in the 40's or so??
We get a lot of rain out here but thankfully today it is pretty dry but that could easily change...
I hope the weather gets better soon!

If you're expecting it to get better "soon", you haven't lived here long! At the moment we're having what the natives refer to as "hail" here in Everett. Actually sleet. I've seen actual hail here maybe twice in 40+ years.

    Oh, and Welcome!

Hi, I thiunk my weather man suggested that these may be Canadian Robins, which will migrate north later. Still, they seem early for the warm weather.
    Hi WEFLTHI , and welcome.

If that were the case, I'd have remained in the Midwest and be a billionaire by now.

Currently (11:44 a.m. MST) temperature is a cool 55 F. Sunny, clear as a bell. Calm. Humidity very low, probably 10%.

Yep. We didn't have much of a winter rainy season to speak of -- which is unfortunate.

Today is sunny with a few high wispy clouds. Calm. Temp a balmy 72 F. Gorgeous!! Blossoms on the fruit trees.
