Need to find original image from GOES Sat The only indication given is the image is from October 25, 2003 thanks in advance.

What could be the black spot in the upper left corner above the Earth.Is it a glitch(malfunction) of the camera or a real object?

You have to register, but it's free. I tried some of them, but didn't see any that matched yours. It appears that you want GOES-East images. Good luck!

I believe the object is a cut and paste. Iow, it's fake, imo.
