I was a big fan of the outgoing captain. He was a strong leader and decisive. Cold blooded. He was never rattled at times that it really mattered. At the same time, things were pretty stagnant. Something had to give.
The new guy brings star power, something we haven't had for while around here since the 1990's. He's quicker and less predictable too. And he's hungry.
I guess I just have to concede that the change was necessary and see how it all plays out.
I have to admit though, it's going to be tough seeing Chauncey Billups in Denver and seeing Allen Iverson in a Pistons uniform.
