So I finally got around to sorting through the 874 photos I took during my recent island-hopping expedition through Indonesia. Here they are:

Nice. Looks like you had an interesting time. I notice that very few of your city pictures have many people in them. I would have thought Jakarta to be crowded. Not so?

Ya, it is pretty crowded. I take my shots empty kind of deliberately; I wait around for crowds to disperse or take several photos of the same thing and keep the ones that are devoid of bystanders... Just one of my photographic habits. Other friends of mine have commented on that too. Guess I've got a knack for it.

Nice shots of Montana! I want to go back to the American west sometime. Driving through Colorado and into New Mexico was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. I've got a ton of photos of that somewhere too if I can find them...

Yes, that's always beautiful. Especially when the water is a light emerald green like it is on the West Coast.

Of course there's nothing like being in water so silted up that one can only see six inches with a 30 watt light and only a thin line to save you from a watery death to challenge one's sense of confidence and self control.

If it was McDonalds coffee you could claim it melted the keyboard and sue for damages. Actually, I have a bit more under my belt than McD's, but no scanner.
