    pzkpfw. Yes. There was a calculated velocity increase due to the slingshot effect, and speeds were not consistent with that. The solution on Fraser's link is simple and physically elegant. Nice work guys. pete

    I was hoping for something weird in the works, something that forced us to reexamine our certainties, but this is certainly elegant. Bravo!

    Read all 3 solutions (Dark Matter, Unruh, transvers Doppler) and felt instantly that this is the right one.
