Does the Earth spin around in one day (24 hrs)? If anyone knows it would be really appreciated!I am just curious for personal interest. Just kind of wondered so I didn't know where else to ask.

Um.......1 that is kind of the definition of a day. Well actually a little under 24 hours hence the leap years that get added but 1 is close enough for most stuff.
Actually, you might want to hit one of the threads Oriel started, the answer is that it spins slightly more than once a day. If you can wade through the stubborn arguements by Oriel, you can actually pick up a lot of interesting data from the counters to his claims.
Er, not quite.Originally Posted by tuffel999
