First Light DSI III + Jupiter

This is my very first time trying to use anything CCD on my scope.

Taken from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. 80 Degrees at 10pm when I took this. Needless to say that I had a lot of thermal heat floating around Jupiter plus it was the first time I had tried to even image anything with my new DSI III Color.

    LX200R 12"
    2x Barlow
Pictures not blown up. Processed in Photoshop to bring out some detail.

Here are a couple images. One was under exposed, 2x2 bin and the third one a little over exposed. I think I will get the hang of this but the next time I will be in the mountains where I should get a sharper image.

Good work for shooting low in the sky (probably 30 degrees) over the Santa Monica Mountains with all the heat rising.
