I hate meaningless introduction threads so I'm just gonna go ahead and try to make my first post somewhat productive.
I took this on 7/5, the night of the alignment between (top left to bottom right) Saturn, Mars, Regulus and the moon. There are also a few fainter stars scattered around, and a hint of Earthshine on the moon with some craters just visible as dark splotches.
Time: Around 9:45 PM EDT, July 5, 2008
Location: Columbiana county (semi-rural NE Ohio)
Equipment: Tripod mounted Nikon Coolpix 4600 point-and-shoot
