here comes another weird idea:
I was looking for something about vortex and fields.
I found a site on google and looked around, found the stuff quite fitting to the topic and well explained.
Than I found out, the site was about game programming. So, what do you think about the relation between physics and game programming. In my eyes, those guys use the best algorithms available and test them severely in their games. These models are sometimes way better, than those you find in physics.
