    C/2007 W1 (Boattini)

    Hi All,
Thought I'd share this image of C/2007 W1 (Boattini) that was taken last night. (May 3 2008). Now shining at a bright Mag 8.4

The image is a 5 min exposure at 1600iso taken with a Canon 350D Unmod.
    Afocal with a 102mm F/5 Skywatcher piggybacked on my trusty 10" LX200gps.

Brightness and contrast adjusted in Photoshop and cropped.

    Enjoy
    Paul

Nice shot. Pity it won't be visible from where I live. I'm really dying for a bright comet...
