My problems with Armageddon go way beyond the science. I thought the story was derivative and cliche. I thought the acting--even among those who are talented actors--was substandard. I thought the characterization was poor. I could go on.

There are a great number of awesome actors in that movie, but alas it sucks regardless of that fact.
