    Newly Discovered Moon Hoax Site

In the same style as Der Voron, here's a wonderful site,

gee, I dunno. I see a rock in those photos. I mean, its a cool rock and all, but I sure don't see Natalie Porman immortalized in stone! sheesh.

Well, at least this one accepts that we went to the Moon at all ...

    Gah.

No, it only became obvious after you pixellated every last ounce of definition from the image.

Maybe to you - I don't see it... Perhaps it's because you've once again zoomed in to far for me to recognise any detail.

It is time to put some pieces together. One Egyptian. Two archeologist. Three Moon. Four photos of annomalies on Moon with astronauts in photo.
And Egyptian, and Archaeologist and the Moon walk into a bar... The bartender says "what's this, a joke?"
As for the 'annomalies' (nice spelling), I would ask a big "what the?!?"

    Questions about picture quality?!?

Good: He's actually using the ALSJ for source material
Bad: He thinks his picture is actually of better quality. Wha? Can you even make out the astronauts clearly in that photo?

I never thought I would see this... OMG! The F, A and H rocks!! Lucky they were clearly marked...

Wow. I don't know what to say.

This guy is a shining example of the human ability to recognise faces in everything.

Why is it rectilinear? Because you edited it in photoshop so everything is rectilinear! Look at the astronauts.

    http://www.lunarfaces.com/page4.html

Fuzzy? Doesn't look fuzzy to me. And I don't think that Apollo documents were destroyed...

This image has been masked, rotated, and enhanced as the first in a series which will help one see the subtle traces in this stone.
Oh, so you screwed around with the images. Nice one.

Have you ever seen so many complex angles in a boulder? Count them. There is a rectangular apendage, there is a fan shaped half circle with raised center section, and a flat area to the right side where the greatest mass is centered. Undoubtbly unmatched in all of geology.
Who says that it's unmatched? Who?

Why did they send a geologist/anthropologist to the moon? Isn't anthropology the study of "THE ORIGINS OF MAN"!
Uhhh... they sent him because he was a geologist...

So now I have taken the liberty of modern day graphics and have moved the fallen eye back to it's original position on the rockface. What's going through your head at this moment?
What's going through my head? The fact that you shouldn't edit images if they are your evidence.

#1 is a non-human skull. #2 is some artificial artifact. #3 turns out to be a three fingered hand in later photos. Geez Jack, how come you didn't tell us about these items?
    Uh... because they're rocks?

All that I see is rocks and dust!

Thank you TSC, you have made my day. That comment had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.

    Well I try...

Really though, what credibility do you have if you say, "Look at the face in the picture that I edited to remove details and add shading!"?

I agree, it reminds me of BradGuth... "I have zoomed into this picture so far that the pixels are now 5 inches wide on my screen, then I used PS sharpen, which does not create artifacts or change the data in the picture in anyway, and now I see that there are Islamic lizards living on Venus and I my not be the smartest guy on the block, so if this blockhead and town idiot can see it, you should too, but you are a NASA borg drone and I have been posting this for years and the lizards have airships tha tyou hydrogen sulfide and here is a refueling station and here is a resivoir and over here is a skytram with a car attached, and look at the temlpe here and I am just a humble person trying to find answers but NASA doesn't want people to hear them and so the Borg try to block my site and prevent my message about Islamic militant lizards living on venus life as we dont know it!!!!"

Excellent! You hit the nail on the head! You know, I'm beginning to think that this guy isn't for real. I mean, some of his stuff is so... out there that it has to be fake. I mean, really, take a look!

When I behold this image of the crater, I see something quite interesting. Pause a moment and observe with me. Take your time. Step back from your monitor if you wish. Turn your monitor on its side as well, if you are so inclined. For a better view you might find it helpful to stand on your desk. There. Isn't that better? Now, try pulling the back part of your shirt over your head -- the part where your hair would be. Leave only your face looking out, as if you are gazing from the porthole of a steamer ship or rectilinear stellar transportational module. Let your arms dangle freely. Take a deep breath. Now concentrate on the image before you. Is it coming to you? Good. Now put your left foot in. Now put your left foot out. (pause) Now. Put your left foot in. Shake it all about....

Farouk El Baz was the man responsible for chosing the landing sites on the Moon and sites on Mars for NASA. He is an Egyptian archeologist.
El-Baz however has a M.S. degree in geology from the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, ad a PhD. in geology from the U of Missouri. How this makes him an anthropologist I don’t know. But give the poor quality of everything else on the site, no one should expect anything there to be true.

    From his officail Bio...

    http://www.bu.edu/remotesensing/Facu...az/FEBbio.html

From 1967 to 1972, Dr. El-Baz participated in the Apollo Program as Supervisor of Lunar Science Planning at Bellcomm Inc., a division of AT&T that conducted systems analysis for NASA Headquarters in Washington DC. During these six years, he was Secretary of the Landing Site Selection Committee for the Apollo missions to the Moon, Principal Investigator of Visual Observations and Photography, and Chairman of the Astronaut Training Group. His outstanding teaching abilities were confirmed by the Apollo astronauts. While circling the Moon for the first time during Apollo mission 15, Alfred Worden said, "After the King's [Farouk's nickname] training, I feel like I've been here before."

How you turned an archeologist into an anthropologist I don't know... ;-)
    (Emphasis mine)

Well, in many U.S. universities archeology is considered to be a sub-discipline of anthropology. So there is a relation.

I see a lady with a Madona type of smile with her arms around a male who's back is toward you, with left arm out, and head turned over his left shoulder. I see a look of surprise and concern on his face. Thirdly, I see a wolf or dog draped over the left shoulder of the lady, and who's face is part of the face, of the male's face. Finally, I see two points of an ornate cross on the lady's left shoulder
Come to think of it...I do see something...stay with me...are you looking hard...if you rotate the image 90 deg, it kinda looks like a tarantula eating a cookie \/

    The Non-Human page
has the "non-human skull" thinking this was some PS magic I looked it up on ALSJ, it is present in photo AS17-145-22158
But when you have a look at AS17-145-22170 ,between the second and third fiducial from the lower right corner, it turns out to be ....rocks. If you listen to A17 videos and read the journal Schmitt made detailed observations of many geological features. He would of noticed an alien skull as something truly worth picking up. As well he would of seen the "carvings" of dogs playing poker or whatever.

Also on the non-human the "three fingered hand" does not correspond to the location of #3 in the photo. In fact it does not appear to be from the same photo.

AS17-145-22170 you can also see the "pipe rock" from a different angle.
The boulder has a small outcropping on it.

The "three-fingered hand" is a good example of how the human visual perception system is attuned to familiar patterns and helpfully fills in the gaps when needed. It's a "hand" because it looks a little like a hand. But it only has three fingers, so it can't be a human hand. Therefore it must be a space alien's hand. But the author forgets that by showing the material dissimilarity between a human hand and his example, he's undermined his conclusion that it is, in fact, a hand.

This is a well-known problem in image interpretation, and this is a good example of why amateurs shouldn't just proclaim themselves photo interpreters and say it's all a matter of obvious common sense. There is value in learning prior art. Common sense doesn't equate to expertise.

Frankly...and this is just me...I think he just likes to say "rectilinear". So much so he's devoted an entire web site to the task. Perhaps is was his "word of the day" when he built the site? :P

My thought on the "letters" on the moon. While astronaut Schmitt may have gone by Jack, his first name was Harrison and his middle name began with an "H", so why not write an H...or since both Cernan and Schmitt were fun guys (from everything I've heard), they may have written multiple letters in the dirt for no reason. They could also have written initials friends and family members.

Concerning the picture that you had to look at crom a distance, and not look at it directly, I stand by my statement on another tread. Stand on your head and hold your breath for 2 minutes and you too will see our favorite BA taking a stroll on the moon.
