    That quote's on Robert Scott's tombstone. Very classy, Fraser.

    Cool

    I had no idea that the title of Heinlein's novel came from a poem!

    I feel the same way I did when Mir went down, another old bird who served us well.

    I'm freely going to admit my ignorance and ask which one. I'm not too knowledgeable about SF.

    Farewell, old sojourner. You literally went above and beyond the call.

    Doubtful it stood;
    As two spent swimmers, that do cling together
    And choke their art. The merciless Hydrazine--
    Worthy to be a rebel, for to that
    The multiplying villanies of nature
    Do swarm upon it--from the fuel tank
    By tube and valve is supplied;
    And sunshine, while on Ulysses smiling,
    Show'd like a rebel's whore: but all's too weak:
    For frigid cold--ever growing stronger--
    Disdaining fortune, chilled burnished steel,
    And made it icey to the touch,
    Hydrazine could no longer carve out its passage,
    And froze solid;
    And ne'er reach reaction chamber, nor ignited,
    And all mission control were undone,
    And laid their heads upon their consoles.
