    More eclipse

I'm not sure what the protocol is here. Should I add my pics to someone else's thread or start my own?

Anyway, I am only offering up two pictures. The first, in B&W is from right at the beginning of the eclipse. I call it "First Bite". Just some artsy-fartsy messing around.

The second is (to me) indistinguishable from most other pics of Regulus, Saturn and the moon that I have seen on-line today but, what the hey.

Both were made with a Kodak Z612 6.1 mp camera with a 12X optical zoom.

    Hi COPE.
Nice work, there is no protocol here as I know. If you want to start your on thread go for it, if not add to it, both gets you there in the end. lear skies to you Paul.

Are those little pine tree needles in the first one? Whatever it is, I really like it!

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, Regulus and Saturn are visible in the one picture and, yes, those are pine needles. I took the shot through the trees and scudding clouds. Too bad I overexposed the moon so much, it would have been a much more dramatic shot otherwise. Oh well, live and learn.
